After an initiative taken by Mayor of Paros, Mr. I. Raggousis, the Mayors of all of the areas and islands that until last year were ports of call for the Thessaloniki-Cyclades-Heraklion, Crete shipping line united their signatures on a common document addressed to Minister of Merchant Marine Mr. E. Kefalogiannis and the Minister of the Aegean Mr. A. Pavlidi. In addition to Paros the cities represented were Thessaloniki, Mr. B. Papgeorgokopoulos, Heraklion, Mr. G. Kourakis, Mykonos, Mr. C. Veronis, Santorini, Mr. A Roussos, and Tinos, Mr. K. Athinaios. The subject of the document was the urgent demand for the immediate reinstatement of a passenger and vehicle bearing vessel to service the route.
